Year 11 Student Damon Selected for Rugby Development Tour
During the October school holidays, Year 11 student Damon Fidge was selected to go to Canberra on a development tour with the Southern Suburb Bulls.
Damon had the opportunity to meet with high performance and development coaches from the Canberra Raiders and be taken into the inner sanctum of their training rooms as well as the media room where he got to meet Rugby League legend Ricky Stewart. Ricky is the current coach of the Canberra Raiders, and played both rugby league and rugby union at an international level.
Earlier this year Damon was selected to be a ball boy for the Wallaby Springbok game held at the Adelaide Oval. Congratulations Damon on your sporting achievements.
